We know you’re likely adjusting to a new routine of working from home and may be looking for virtual projects and networking opportunities, especially after upcoming conferences may have been cancelled. Does your GLAM institution have a special collection or focus you wish the world knew more about? By sharing related institutional data on Wikidata, the open data repository behind Wikipedia, you can use your institution’s unique identifier to bring exposure to your data, drive traffic to your website, and situate your institution as a leader with that collection. With online meetings once a week via Zoom, Elevate your Collection will give you one-on-one coaching from our Wikidata experts, the chance to conceptualize online projects for your institution, and a network of your peers cheering you on.
If your members have shifted to more online work, or if a conference they planned to attend this spring is now cancelled, we hope our online courses can help them continue to meet institutional goals and allow them to stay in touch with their constituents where they are… online.
